We were taking a Saturday afternoon drive in the country when my husband noticed that the car was pulling heavily to the right. When we checked it, we found what looked like a roofing tack in the right front tire and it had gone down quite a bit and was going to go completely flat soon if we didn't fix it. We didn't have a spare so we started looking in the trunk for anything to use to fix the tire. My husband found a roll of duct tape. We jacked the car up and removed the tack. We stuck some duct tape all over the area where the tack had been. About an hour and a half later, we pulled into a garage and called some friends to pick us up. What a relief! We learned a lesson about not leaving home without a spare tire and never leaving home without duct tape!
